Dr. Ami Shah

Dr. Ami Anand Shah is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with over ten years of experience as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry with global expertise the arenas of Drug Safety and Risk Management, Clinical Development and Business Strategy focused within several different therapeutic areas including Pain, Inflammation, Transplant, Biologics, Biosimilars, Hematology, Opthalmology and Primary Care. She is also Board-Certified and Fellowship trained in Aesthetics and Anti-aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine and has a part-time concierge practice with a focus on integrative, personalized medicine, aesthetics, disease awareness/prevention/health coaching in NYC She is very active in the communities she has lived in throughout the years by volunteering as a physician in free health clinics and providing education to the community as a speaker on numerous medical topics at various health seminars, screenings professional panels and has served as a mentor for various groups such as SAWLF and Columbia University Lang School of Entrepreneurship. Dr. Shah has been involved in leadership roles with several professional organizations and is currently an American Medical Association (AMA) delegate for New York State Young Physicians Section, Chair of Government Affairs and on the Board of the New York County Medical Society (NYCMS), an Alternate Delegate and on the Employed Physician's Committee for Medical Society of State of New York (MSSNY), President of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin NYC METRO chapter, member of the President's Council of the Global Association of Physician's of Indian Origin. She is also the board of South Asian Health Initiatives (SAHI) in New York City, the Vanderbilt YMCA and is on the Advisory Board for the Women's Education Project. Last year she received one of the most prestigious awards when named as one of the top 50 Asian Americans in Business. She is dedicated to participating, advocating and supporting issues that physicians face in the practice arena and partners with individuals to promote one medical voice in order to support and achieve common goals as a team player. Her heart belongs to her children and family, those whom she serves and all of the non-profit initiatives which leave an imprint of change in the world.
